In the hot summer months of July and August, our tours are closed to ensure the safety and well-being of our visitors and staff. We look forward to welcoming you back in the cooler seasons to experience all that our farm has to offer.
We had an amazing visit at Moss Mountain Farms. Our day ended up being very rainy but the staff made it work and we feel like we got to see so much in spite of the weather. P. Allen coming in to visit with us was icing on the cake. The grounds, the home, I cannot say enough about the beauty of this place. Perfect girls trip!!!

Moss Mountain was a wonderful day experience, Loved the history of the house and its architecture and culture. Although the gardens were not in full bloom during our visit, they were well planned and we will return to catch their glory. Lunch was fabulous along with the P Allen Smith visit conversation. We had a wonderful day visiting the exquisite home, gardens, and farm animals. The friendly and knowledgeable staff paced the day perfectly - these people know what they are doing! We loved the great gift shop and enjoyed a delicious lunch with other guests, who all seemed to really appreciate our special surroundings. The icing on the cake was the appearance of the very gracious P. Allen Smith after lunch!

We loved our tour of the house and gardens. I would recommend if you have health issues, know there are 3 sets of stairs in the house, on the house tour. There is a lot of walking to see the 4 or 5 gardens. You need to be aware of the weather and dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes. The hosting ladies were excellent. They informative and entertaining. If you are interested in gardening or design you will love it!
