Paperwhites are one of my favorite plants to keep inside during the winter, and they’re so easy to encourage to bloom indoors. Unfortunately, those happy flower clusters can be a bit too heavy for the stems. The good news is . . . It’s easy to make supports out of just about anything.
Support Your Paperwhites
1. Metal Wire Ball or Birdcage
It’s easy to find good and funky items at antique shops or thrift stores that can pull double duty as a support for your paperwhites.
2. Recycled Twigs (painted or natural)
The twigs lend a natural, outdoor element to the container of paperwhites. Spray paint the twigs with fun colors or metallics or leave them natural for a more rustic look.
