A plate of deviled eggs is the perfect dish to take to a picnic or family reunion. Who doesn’t love deviled eggs?! I love them. Here’s a basic recipe I prepare.


  • 12 hard boiled eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • dash paprika


  1. Peel the hard boiled eggs. Using a sharp knife, slice each egg in half, lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place in a small mixing bowl. Arrange the egg whites on a serving platter and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the egg yolks except the paprika. Blend until smooth.
  3. Spoon the egg yolk mixture into the egg white halves and garnish with paprika.
