Siberian iris were some of the first perennials I planted in my garden. I am so enamored with these plants that they have become somewhat of a signature in my garden designs. The vertical grass-like foliage creates a striking focal point even after the blooms have faded.
The roots of the Siberian iris grow deep, which makes the plant quite drought resistant. They prefer full sun or part shade and a moist, well-drained soil that is moderately rich.
