Around this time every year, we start seeing that quintessential holiday drink – eggnog – showing up in homes around the country. But if you or your guests can’t do dairy, have I got a great alternative. It’s soynog!

Ingredients

  • 1 quart vanilla soymilk
  • 7 ounces extra-firm silken tofu
  • 7 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 2/3 cup amaretto

Instructions

  1. Making soynog is pretty simple. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
