Freezing Corn on the Cob

I have purchased several ears of corn and want to freeze them. I saw you on the Weather Channel and you said how to freeze them in the husks but I cannot remember how. Please help. I don’t want to loose all this beautiful corn.

One of my favorite summer vegetables is sweet corn. I just love it and I always I have plenty on hand to get me through winter. To freeze sweet corn simply leave the husks on and cut an inch or so off the tip of the ear then slide the corn into plastic bags to store in the freezer. Leaving the husks intact will protect the kernels from freezer burn. When you are ready to prepare the corn, boil the water before removing the cob from the freezer. With the water boiling, remove the corn, shuck the husks and immediately place it in the water. You want the corn to be frozen when you add it to the boiling water. When the corn is done dunk it in cool water to stop the cooking. Corn will keep in the freezer for about 3 months.
