Step into a world of exploration and nature at Moss Mountain Farm’s Family Farm Day! Spend a day immersed in the beauty of our farm as you and your family create memories that will last a lifetime. Get ready for an adventure filled with discovery, fresh air, and the wonders of sustainable living.

Moss Mountain Farm is a haven for those seeking a deeper connection to the land and the food we consume. On Family Farm Day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our picturesque estate and soak in the natural surroundings. As you wander through the farm, breathe in the crisp, fresh air of the river valley and let the serene atmosphere transport you away from the screens and distractions of everyday life.

One of the highlights of this event is the chance to witness our commitment to preserving nearly extinct and heritage poultry breeds. These remarkable birds are a testament to our dedication to safeguarding our agricultural heritage. Observe these magnificent creatures as they roam freely, their vibrant plumage catching the sunlight. Take a moment to reflect on the significance of preserving these breeds for future generations.

In addition to our feathered friends, don’t miss the opportunity to visit our apiary and pollinator gardens. Marvel at the intricate dance of honey bees as they flit from flower to flower, collecting nectar and pollen. Learn about the critical role these industrious insects play in our ecosystem and how they contribute to our success as a species. Our pollinator gardens showcase a vibrant array of blooms, attracting these essential creatures and adding splashes of color to the landscape.

As you explore the farm, take the time to relax and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you. Stroll along the pathways, meander through the gardens, and pause to listen to the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze. Embrace the serenity of the countryside and let it rejuvenate your spirit.

We have invited a few food trucks to join us! We will update who will be there closer to the event date.

Family Farm Day at Moss Mountain Farm is a time to connect with nature, create lasting memories, and foster a love for the land. This event is all about embracing the outdoors, exploring at your own pace, and immersing yourself in the beauty of our farm. Discover the joy of being present in the moment and the wonders that nature has to offer.

So, mark your calendars and join us for a day of exploration, tranquility, and inspiration at Moss Mountain Farm’s Family Farm Day. Escape the screens, embrace the natural world, and make the most of this enchanting experience in the heart of the countryside.
