Plein Air Painting Workshop with Diana Shearon
What can participants expect to learn during their day with you?
– This class will guide new or experienced plein air painters through the process of figuring out what equipment works best for them, developing small studies for future compositions, and finding a focus for their paintings.
What makes Moss Mountain Farm unique as a place of inspiration for artists?
– The gardens and property are perfect for plein air painting. They are easy to navigate and offer such a variety of scenes to paint–from woodland scenes, formal gardens, and, of course, the beautiful creatures of Poultryville. Having great facilities is a wonderful plus and being able to partake of the excellent lunch prepared by the Moss Mountain kitchen makes the experience of plein air painting as enjoyable as it could possible get.
How much experience does someone need to have before registering for your workshop?
– This class is geared toward plein air painters at various experience levels. The beginner level painters will have assistance with basic supplies needed and very hands-on instruction about the process of painting out of doors. More experienced students will have guidance in further developing their skills and technique.
Only 15 tickets are available for this class. Reserve your spot here!
