Ma Smith’s Caramel Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the icing is well blended. Remove from the heat. Use while still warm.
