A plate of deviled eggs is the perfect dish to take to a picnic or family reunion. Who doesn’t love deviled eggs?! I love them. Here’s a basic recipe I prepare.

- 12 hard boiled eggs
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- salt and pepper
- dash paprika
- Peel the hard boiled eggs. Using a sharp knife, slice each egg in half, lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place in a small mixing bowl. Arrange the egg whites on a serving platter and set aside.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the egg yolks except the paprika. Blend until smooth.
- Spoon the egg yolk mixture into the egg white halves and garnish with paprika.
