My fall flower borders just wouldn’t be the same without salvia ‘Indigo Spires’. The plants have been blooming continuously since early summer and show no signs of stopping. I honestly can’t believe how large these plants have grown in what seems like such a short time. I started with several spindly, quart-size plants that have now grown into impressive drifts of deep blue-violet blooms, 3 feet and taller. As the bloom spikes emerge, they add a graceful quality to the plant’s overall presentation.
