3 Things to Do with a Jack-o-Lantern after Halloween
Pumpkin roll! Organize a neighborhood pumpkin roll to see who can roll their Jack-o-lantern the farthest. This is especially fun if you live near a great big hill.
Compost bin! Chop it up and put the pieces in your compost bin. If you're lucky you just might find a pumpkin vine growing there next spring.
Give it to the birds! Slice the top off to form a bowl. Add just enough seeds to satisfy the birds, but not so much that the pumpkin will rot before the seeds are gone.
Jack-o-lanterns Go Batty Give your Jack-o-lantern something to scream about with bats flying above its head. All you need is construction paper, floral wire, hot glue, and pipe cleaners. Watch this video to see how to do it.
