Line Baskets with Burlap
Lining baskets with burlap is not only decorative it will protect the weave and prevent small objects from dropping through gaps. To keep it in place use wire to “stitch” the burlap around the inside edge of the basket. Fold the edge of the burlap under then thread pieces of wire through the fabric and basket.
