Peaches And Ice Cream
One of the great things about summer is the availability fresh fruit. I love going down to my local farmer's market on Saturday mornings to see what is available. This week, I picked up some delicious peaches and made one of my favorite summer treats - fresh peaches and ice cream. This recipe is so easy that I make it several times a week during peach season.
Peel and coarsely chop peaches. Mix in one tablespoon sugar. Set aside unrefrigerated for thirty minutes to an hour to draw the juices.
Top ice cream with peaches and juice.
Time to prepare: 50 minutes.
