Heidi's Raspberry Iced Tea

My friend Heidi Berry served up a delicious fruit infused iced tea at a backyard BBQ. It's yummy on its own or mixed with lemonade. If you want something a little stronger add a splash of rum or vodka.
Ingredients
- 2 tea bags, family-size
- 4 cups water, boiling
- 3 cups fresh raspberries
- 4 cups water, cold
- mint
- pinch baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
Muddle the raspberries, sugar, mint and a pinch of baking soda. Baking soda helps retain the beautiful red color.
Steep two family-size tea bags in four cups boiling water to desired strength. Allow to cool and add to the muddled berries and mint.
Let tea sit for about an hour and strain.
Return tea to a large pitcher and add 4 cups of cold water. Serve cold over ice.
Notes
Time to prepare: 1 hour, 10 minutes.
