Chocolate Ganache

Chocolate ganache is handy to have in your recipe box because you can make it quickly and it can be used to add decadence to just about anything from fruits to cake to ice cream.


To make the ganache heat 1/2 cup of heavy cream in a small saucepan. Just as the cream begins to bubble add the chocolate.

Lower the heat and stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

If a ganache glaze is desired add more cream, one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency.


Time to prepare: 15 minutes.

Serves 1.
